About this Project
An experience defined by beauty & power, enveloped in tensioned aesthetics: we are smoothing away the abrasive discord of the world.
Creating this piece with Jeanelle, and experiencing her release of emotion & spiritual connectivity was incredibly personal and life changing.
This is _the_ piece where I discovered how to bend rope under tension, by using parabolic math. The technical attempt was an extension of the occult geometries surrounding this piece, born of the practices that we both share.
When collaborating with artists like Jeanelle, suspension amplifies the reality that our mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical states are incredibly interconnected. Our existences are so incredibly tethered, liminal states can be triggered by pushing any one of these states.
